Established in 1982 with legal entity in the form of CV. BANGUN ARTA grows as one of the largest limestone producers in Indonesia. With a concession area located in Rembang, Central Java (48 ha) and in Puger, East Java (38 Ha), BANGUN ARTA is optimistic to expand its business to become even bigger.
Quarry Location | Rembang
Located in Tegaldowo Village, Gunem District, Rembang, Central Java The mining area has an area of ± 48 ha with a deposit value of more than 33,533,078 tons. The mine is designed to achieve a minimum production capacity of 200,000 tons per year. Currently the mining area in Rembang is in the management of PT. REMBANG BANGUN PERSADA, which is part of BANGUN ARTA.
Quarry Location | Puger
Located in Grenden Village, Puger Sub-district, Jember City, East Java, The mining area has an area of ± 38.5 ha with a deposit value of over 47,973,475 tons. The mine is designed to achieve a minimum production capacity of 480,000 tons per year. Currently the mining area in Puger is in the management of PT. PERTAMA MINA SUTRA PERKASA, which is part of BANGUN ARTA.
Scope of Business / Product Knowledge
BANGUN ARTA produces limestone products as follows:
- Lump size : Type of limestone product size of bunch 40-60 mm, 30-50 mm and 10-25 mm.
- Fine size : Product type limestone gravel size 3.00-4.50 mm, 2.00-3.50 mm and 1.00-3.50 mm.
- Powder size : Product type limestone powder size 100 mesh and 200 mesh.
In addition to the above products, BANGUN ARTA also produces limestone products in other sizes according to customer needs. The following limestone specification based on Certificate of Analysis issued by SUCOFINDO:

Resources and Supporting Facilities
Steel Fabrication
To improve the production capacity, modification, repair and maintenance of crushing plant, barge loading conveyor, heavy equipment and other facilities we have workshops and steel fabrication located in Driyorejo, Gresik.
Port of Load and Stockpile Area
To support sea shipping, BANGUN ARTA has two loading and stockpile areas located in Gresik, East Java and Sluke, Central Java.

Sea Fleet
In addition to the loading port and stockpile area, other supporting facilities include tug boats and barges with a capacity of 3000 tons to support limestone shipments through the sea to all regions of Indonesia.

- Power Plant :
- Long term limestone contract (10 year period) with PT. PLN Tanjung Jati B, Jepara Unit 1-2.

- Smelter :
